Adam Edward Brooks (Writer / Director / Producer / Editor)
The award winning Mr. Brooks was recognized as one of the top, up and coming directors, by Ben Affleck and Matt Damon's Project Greenlight. Adam has a background in graphic design and music, where he worked as a professional touring musician for nearly a decade. In 1998, he left eastern Iowa and moved to California. His first feature film (The Season) had its world premiere in Hollywood at the famed Grauman's Chinese Theater as part of the esteemed Screamfest film festival. The Season went on to win many awards including Moving Pictures Magazine's Top Independent film of 2010 with an award ceremony in Park City Utah, during the Sundance Film Festival.
AJ Bowen was born on December 21, 1977 in Marietta, Georgia, USA as Alfred C. Bowen Jr. He is an actor, known for You're Next (2011), The Signal (2007) and The House of the Devil (2009). He has been married to Amanda Allen Kirk since June 21, 2003.
Julianne Mason is an Iowa native that has graced the stages both in Iowa and New York. After spending the 2006 spring semester studying in New York City at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, she graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a major in Theatre. The Season is Mason’s first feature film. She recently returned to NYC to continue her stage and film career.
Kadenge was born and raised in Zimbabwe where he graduated from high school and studied acting at Stage Studios Harare. He graduated from Morningside College, Sioux City, Iowa, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Intra-Societal Relations, in 1989. In 1993, he earned his juris doctorate degree from the University of Iowa College of Law, with an emphasis in international human rights law. Throughout high school, college and his practice of law, acting has been a constant part of his life and his resume includes numerous college and community theater apppearances, experimental projects and one prior film appearance. Kadenge lives in Mitchellville, Iowa, with his wife Cindy, one Australian shepherd and two cats.
Douglas Tait was born on December 17, 1978 in Tarzana, California, USA. He is known for his work on Star Trek (2009), Zathura: A Space Adventure (2005) and Land of the Lost (2009).
Pedja Radenkovic (Cinematographer)
Pedja has an efficient and effective working style that has earned him a reputation as a Cinematographer who has the ability to work quickly to create uniquely beautiful images with content. He is versatile with creating imagery and lighting styles for any genre and mood. "The Season" was an Amish horror/thriller film directed by Adam Brooks that won an award for Best Cinematography at the Indiana Dark Carnival Film Festival. In 2008 "The Season" was officially selected to play at the prestigious Screamfest film festival at Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles. Pedja has worked on a series of short documentaries for Heifer Intl. and Melinda & Bill Gates Foundation. He has been traveling to remote locations of Nepal, India, Africa & Peru with acclaimed producer Bill Medskar, director Sandy Smolan and cinematographer Jacek Laskus, ASC to document the human conditions of local inhabitants.
Nicholas Pavkovic (Composer) A prolific composer for film, Pavkovic has scored more than two dozen narrative features and shorts, and was named a Sundance Composers Lab fellow in 2008. In the same year he received the grand prize in the Percussive Arts Society composition competition for Concertino for Piano and Percussion.
